PHARMACY DISPENSING ASSISTANT — DORSET & SOUTHAMPTON
We are recruiting a Full-Time Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant to join our expanding teams in Dorset & Southampton
Our company is looking for enthusiastic and efficient candidates available to work 40 hours per week across Monday — Saturday.
The candidate must be trained to work in a pharmacy dispensary with a minimum Level 2 qualification and must also have experience of working in a pharmacy for at least 1 year.
As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer-focused service, counter assistance, appropriate health counselling, labelling, dispensing medications, receiving and maintaining stock.
Our Pharmacy Dispensers undertake a range of roles within the pharmacy, which include the following
Sale of over the counter medicines
Provision of information to customers on symptoms and products
The assembly of prescribed items (including the generation of labels & MDS trays)
Ordering, receiving and storing pharmaceutical stock
The supply of pharmaceutical stock
Shop stock organisation; date checking, stock level maintenance
The rate of pay will depend on qualifications and experience.
